Easy Step For Homemade Paneer Paratha Recipe
1) Take the atta and salt in a bowl. To mix the dough, attach the dough hook and pour water into the mixer while it’s on the lowest setting.
2) Keep increasing the speed and knead it until it turns into a dough. Put a teaspoon of oil on top of it.
3) Use your hand to press and flatten it.
4) Create a soft and circular ball of dough, then cover it with a tidy kitchen towel or plastic wrap and allow it to sit for 10-15 minutes.
Making Stuffing:
5) Put all the ingredients for the stuffing in a bowl.
6) Mix them together until everything is thoroughly combined.
Rolling Paratha:
7) After resting, smooth out the dough again and divide it into 8 equal parts.
8) Roll the dough between your hands to make a smooth, round ball. Flatten it a bit to make a disc. Before you start rolling, heat the cooking pan on medium-high heat.
9) Duck both sides of the flattened disc into the dry flour.
10) Start rolling it until it becomes a circle with a diameter of 4 inches.
11) Put a generous amount of filling in the center of the circle.
12) Use your hand to gather the edges together.
13) Pinch the center to seal it properly.
14) Lightly press the sealed part with your fingers to even out the dough and make the disc slightly larger.
15) Dip both sides of the disc into the dry flour again.
16) Start rolling it and dust it with more flour if needed. Roll it gently to avoid breaking or bursting open.
17) Roll it into a circle with a diameter of 7 to 8 inches and make sure it has even thickness.
Cooking Paneer Paratha:
18) Take a hot tawa and put the rolled paneer paratha on it. Cook it for a few minutes, you will see some bubbles forming on the surface.
19) Flip the paratha over, and you will notice a few light brown spots. Drizzle and spread about a teaspoon of oil evenly on the surface.
20) Flip the paratha again and apply oil once more.
21) Gently press the paratha with a spatula and continue cooking until the bottom side has golden brown spots and there are no raw doughy parts left.
22) Flip the paratha again and lightly press it to cook the other side.
23) Once the other side turns golden brown, remove the paratha from the tawa and place it on a plate. Repeat the same process for the remaining paneer parathas. You can apply butter or ghee to the parathas before serving.
