Job Description :

The use of AI and ML enables real-time data analysis and decision-making, predictive maintenance and the optimization of production processes. We work with business teams to realize the full potential of Industry 4.0 – real-time control, IoT, big data and analytics, automation and artificial intelligence to support the Smart Factory initiative, make better decisions and maximize operational excellence.

1. Apply AI/Machine Learning/Deep Learning techniques to solve real-world problems.
2. Focus on developing a machine learning model for defect detection and defect pattern classification using images collected from devices. The inference result provides feedback to the equipment to remove defective parts, and the classification results are used for root cause analysis.
3. Work with our data scientists and data engineers to develop solutions based on machine learning methods that enable live inference by integrating the inference pipeline into the factory system. The inferences are hosted either in the data center or at the edge (near or on devices).
4. Take advantage of the opportunity to make a meaningful impact at Seagate by designing, building, optimizing and deploying machine learning models that help uncover opportunities to reduce operating costs and improve product quality.
